‘Buxtehude Bündnis’, which was founded this week in the town hall of Buxtehude, is committed to these characteristics. The reason for the alliance of organizations, parties, companies, and private individuals was the rallies and demonstrations against extremism in recent weeks. Many people from Buxtehude took a clear stance by taking part, which is why the Mayor of Buxtehude, Mrs. Katja Oldenburg-Schmidt, was keen to fly the flag and bring committed citizens together.

“The ‘Buxtehude Bündnis’ is an important initiative that I, as a representative of NSB, would definitely like to support,” says our CEO Tim Ponath. “Diversity has always been part of our corporate DNA. Any radicalism, questioning of our democratic values and misanthropy have no place in our society. I stand up for this – also on behalf of my colleagues.”

By signing up as a founding member, all participants are making a clear commitment to the alliance’s guidelines. The initiators are planning further events for the coming weeks.
