NSB again ranks among the TOP 100 most innovative companies in Germany

The Buxtehude-based company has once again received the award for its outstanding culture of innovation. The science journalist and TV moderator Ranga Yogeshwar congratulates CEO Tim Ponath at the official award ceremony in June.

Buxtehude – The NSB GROUP, a maritime services company, once again impressed in the independent, scientific selection process and is one of the top innovators in the German SME sector of the year for the third time after 2021 and 2023.

Independent selection process
Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organ-ization, open innovation, and innovation success: these are the five categories according to which the innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team of the Vienna Uni-versity of Economics and Business examine the innovative strength of all participants. They also take more than 100 criteria into account when evaluating the participating companies. The company compamedia commissioned the research for the top competition.

About the NSB GROUP
NSB GROUP is a maritime service company with headquarters in Buxtehude and locations in Singa-pore, on the Philippines, Korea, and China. Its history goes back to 1982. In addition to traditional technical management, the services offered by the ship management company include commercial management, crew management and training, insurance services, engineering, and newbuilding. TOP 100: The competition
Since 1993, compamedia has been awarding the TOP 100 seal for special innovative strength and above-average innovation success to medium-sized companies. The scientific management has been in the hands of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke since 2002. Franke is the founder and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. With 26 research awards and over 200 publications, he is one of the leading innovation researchers internationally. The mentor of TOP 100 is the science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar. Project partners are the Fraunhofer Society for the Promotion of Applied Research and the BVMW association of small and medium-sized enterprises. More information and registration at www.top100.de.
